Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Actuarial Analyst to join a team at a leading Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carrier. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed actuarial analyses to support pricing for personal auto insurance products.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to forecast future losses and expenses.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to provide actuarial insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of rate filings and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and emerging risks to inform strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior actuarial staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least four actuarial exams passed towards the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an actuarial role, preferably within the personal lines insurance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
