Our client is a global investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that is looking to expand its Technology Investment Banking team in the US. They provide strategic advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations. Their team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to help our clients achieve their strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions.
- Perform industry research and market analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and execute transaction strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the technology sector.
- Maintain and update databases of industry contacts, transaction precedents, and market data.
- Support the execution of live transactions, including coordinating with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably with a focus on technology M&A.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
