A client with over $6.5Bn in AUM is seeking a Capital Formation and Investor Relations Associate in New York City to join their growth-focused private capital firm. The firm is growing its small Capital Formation team and is looking to bring on a sharp, versatile, and experienced professional with superb communication skills. This role will work closely with the VP of Capital Formation and report to the Head of Capital Formation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Capital Formation Team in communicating investment details and firm activity to current and prospective investors
- Prepare and manage investor reporting, DDQs/RFPs, ad hoc inquiries, materials, and presentations
- Maintain LP databases and tracking
- Analyze fund performance, benchmarks, and projections
Qualifications:
- Strong character with excellent conversation/communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years experience in asset management, investment banking, private funds, consulting, or related field
- Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
- Advanced technical Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Previous project management experience
