Audit Associate - Quality Assurance
Location: NYC
Compensation: 110-140k base
I am currently working with an American Investment Bank in New York to grow out their Internal Audit Quality Assurance group. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in internal audit within the financial services industry and are experienced in overseeing engagements from end-to-end.
In this role you would be responsible for leading assurance reviews for numerous cross-functional audit teams to ensure that the engagement adheres to all relevant regulations and standards. Additionally, you would be responsible for working closely with senior leadership to develop and deliver continuous improvement opportunities for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead assurance reviews for a variety of cross-functional internal audit functions
- Work closely with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to identify and propose improvements to audit practices
- Aid in the development and delivery of audit improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in internal audit within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of business risks and audit professional practices
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or another related field
- Relevant certification preferred (CIA,CPA,CISA)
