A global reinsurance company is looking to add an AVP to their Corporate Actuarial department. This candidate would be responsible for the FP&A function, IFRS17 & SolvencyII planning and strategy. This role can be fully remote from any US state! Please apply if interested in learning more.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation and timely delivery of quarterly equity memorandum in support of group reporting under IFRS17 and SII
- Responsible for the financial forecast and planning process and communicating these results to leadership members
- Collection, documentation and communication of key drivers of financial results
- Coordinates with accounting and ERM teams in the production of the Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) for HLR America Bermuda entity and other BMA regulated entities, as they arise
Qualifications:
- FSA designation
- 7+ years of actuarial experience, preference in reporting or FP&A
- Experience with IFRS, Solvency II, NAIC stat, etc.
- Experience with reinsurance
