Our client, who operates in the field of market intelligence and providing valuable insights and data to various sectors, is looking to bring on a Business Development Manager.
Key Objectives:
- Achieve revenue and new business targets on a quarterly basis.
- Secure new business through subscription sales to broker-dealers, asset and wealth managers, private banks, distributors, professional services, and tech providers.
- Engage with potential clients and key decision-makers across various channels, including in-person meetings.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of market operations and the company's products, including their target audience and benefits.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- At least 2 years of success in a consultative sales environment.
- Proven prospecting and closing skills.
- Preferred experience in selling high-value deals to financial institutions in North America.
- Required knowledge of financial services markets.
- Preferred knowledge of derivatives and/or structured products.
