Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an investment professional to support and strengthen their CLO platform, with a focus on analytics, portfolio optimization, and automation. This individual will play a vital role in managing the firm's CLO funds across their lifecycle and helping drive the continued growth of the business. Prior experience with CLOs is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analytics on CLO structures using Intex, internal modeling tools, and other third-party platforms, while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Assist portfolio managers in refining cash flow projections, stress testing assumptions, and optimizing portfolio construction at both the launch and ongoing management stages.
- Ensure compliance with key CLO documentation constraints, while identifying opportunities for efficient capital deployment.
- Assess and recommend potential CLO capital market transactions, including refinancings, resets, and redemptions.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to prepare investor-facing analysis and address inquiries related to CLO equity and debt investments.
- Work with the Business Strategy team to analyze and project key business metrics, including AUM growth and overall profitability of the CLO platform.
- Serve as a key liaison with external consultants to verify and enhance modeling and analytical frameworks.
- Partner with Legal, Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams to refine existing processes and develop innovative solutions for efficient portfolio management.
- Approach tasks proactively with a strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in credit investing, with direct exposure to CLOs
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Intex and other analytical tools used for CLO modeling.
- Highly collaborative and detail-oriented, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Bachelor's degree required.
