About the Role
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on global cyclical sectors, including oil & gas, hard commodities, or macroeconomic (Rates/ FX) trends in the UK, US, and North Asia.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and company-specific news to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Develop financial models to forecast company performance and identify key drivers of value creation.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and management interviews.
- Present investment recommendations and analysis to the investment team and participate in decision-making processes.
- Monitor existing investments and provide regular updates on performance and market developments.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement new investment strategies.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience as an investment analyst, preferably with buy-side experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop complex financial models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
