My client, a global asset management firm, is looking to bring on a support oriented DevOps/Cloud engineer for their platform team. Overall, this role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the firm's technology infrastructure, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently while also addressing any issues that may arise. It requires a combination of technical skills, collaboration, and strong communication abilities to excel in this position. Past experience in finance is required.
Necessary requirements/skills:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years working in similar role
- Python or Bash scripting
- Experience with CI/CD process and tools like Git or Jenkins
- Strong AWS experience, Azure a plus
- Openshift/Kubernetes
- Atlassian tool stack (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
- Jenkins
- Elasticsearch
- IaC tools like Git, BitBucket, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
