An alternative asset manager that invests across credit and equity is looking to add a Director to lead their Asset Management function. The role will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for overseeing the asset servicing function of both public and private strategies. This role will interact closely with various stakeholders throughout the business including Portfolio Managers, member so the Investment Committee, the trading desks, firm counter parties etc.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background
- 8+ years of experience, ideally having worked at an asset-based/ structured credit firm
- Strong understanding of public and private ABS
- Valuation modeling skills
- Strong analytical background and problem solving skills
- Experience leading or mentoring junior staff preferred
