Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Director/Managing Director in Debt Advisory, specializing in Infrastructure. In this role, you will originate and lead debt advisory mandates, providing strategic guidance to clients across a range of infrastructure projects. Drawing on your expertise in debt structuring, financial modeling, and market analysis, you will drive value for clients by optimizing their financing strategies and securing optimal debt arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage debt advisory mandates for infrastructure projects, from origination to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including investors, lenders, developers, and government agencies to facilitate deal flow and enhance market presence.
- Provide strategic advice on debt structuring, financing options, and risk management, leveraging insights from financial analysis, market trends, and regulatory developments.
- Lead financial modeling and analysis to assess project feasibility, evaluate funding requirements, and optimize capital structures to achieve client objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including investment banking, legal, and risk management, to coordinate deal execution and deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Actively contribute to business development initiatives, including pitch presentations, client meetings, and market research, to expand the firm's footprint in the infrastructure sector.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in debt advisory, investment banking, or infrastructure finance, with a focus on originating transactions in mid-market space.
- At least 15 years of experience in DCM, Debt Advisory, Corporate Finance, M&A experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of debt markets, financing structures, and regulatory frameworks, particularly within the infrastructure sector.
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with project finance modeling tools is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Dutch, German, or French is advantageous.
