They are seeking an experienced Principal or Managing Director to join their New York City team. Role and Responsibilities
As a Principal or Managing Director, you will play a critical role in expanding the firm's footprint in the LMM space. You will work closely with private equity sponsors to originate transactions. Additionally, this person will be responsible for helping to grow, manage and develop the junior resources on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build, nurture, and expand new and existing relationships with LMM private equity sponsors to uncover new lending opportunities.

Key Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree from a top undergraduate program
· Proven track record of originating opportunities from LMM sponsors
· Deep understanding of lower middle market sponsor-backed transactions and the private equity landscape
· 10+ years' financial sponsor private equity coverage, with strong rolodex of LMM sponsors
· Well-developed relationships with key capital markets stakeholders at private equity firms, other lenders, and asset managers
· Deep knowledge in private equity landscape, investment strategies and market influences
· Ability to successfully work in a small, collaborative team environment
· Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit
· Ability to travel as required
· Authorization to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation:
[There will be a base salary of up to $300,000 plus an additional performance bonus . The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant's qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances].
