Manager, Fund Accounting
Key Duties:
- Contribute to the setup of the HK Fund Accounting platform, encompassing Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, and Reconciliation.
- Accurately and promptly carry out daily operational workflows, such as payment instructions, trade matching, and settlement.
- Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Work in tandem with internal teams (Legal & Compliance, Investment, Product, Risk, Finance, Outsource affiliate entities) and external partners (trustees, distributors, service providers) to streamline fund launches and daily operations.
- Swiftly address operational issues and keep detailed records.
- Regularly revise and update operations policies and procedures.
- Liaise with custodians and service providers on various operational tasks.
- Develop or refine systems for existing products and workflows.
- Enhance procedures and controls to guarantee top-notch services and smooth processes.
- Oversee service quality from providers and internal affiliates.
- Offer insights on potential changes to the operational model.
- Report on operational efficiency metrics.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives, including the launch of new products, regulatory changes, and technology updates.
- Undertake assigned ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations policies and procedures, with a focus on trade settlement, cash management, custody, fund administration, and transfer agency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communicator across all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-driven, deadline-oriented, and motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
