Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential clients, including institutional investors, asset managers, and financial institutions.
- Generate leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and attending industry conferences and events.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify client needs, understand industry trends, and position firm's solutions effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including portfolio managers, CIOs, and senior executives.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition and benefits of firm's solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to provide market feedback, contribute to product enhancements, and support the development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements in collaboration with the legal and finance teams.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline management, lead qualification, conducting product trials, and closing deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives on a consistent basis.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence to the management team.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in the investment technology space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 3-10 years in sales, preferably within the financial technology (fintech) or investment management industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the asset management industry.
- Experience selling software solutions, preferably in the AI or data analytics space, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with institutional clients and senior-level executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
