Job Summary: The Investment Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the investment team by conducting thorough market research, analyzing financial data, and assisting in the development and execution of investment strategies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for sustainable investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, develop and maintain complex financial models, and assess valuation metrics to support investment decisions.
- Investment Memorandums: Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence processes, including engaging with third-party service providers and liaising with legal and compliance teams.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments, including regular financial reviews and site visits as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of sustainable investments and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria is a plus.
