We're representing a boutique Investment Bank in their search to hire an IB Analyst in either Cleveland, Detroit, or Nashville. This IB Analyst will support the execution of mid/lower-mid market M&A transactions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.
- Prepare detailed pitch books, presentations, and transaction documents for client meetings.
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including coordinating with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Perform industry and company research to support transaction strategies and identify potential opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, financial news, and relevant industry developments.
- Support senior bankers in client relationship management and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with M&A transactions and familiarity with the deal process.
- Knowledge of financial databases and research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
