Our client, a leading global financial institution with offices across Europe, Asia and the US are looking to hire an Associate to join their M&A Advisory team, with a focus on Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Energy Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be an A2 or A3 level professional who is ready to engage with clients from day one, with aspirations to grow into a future leader within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the larger transaction team by developing marketing materials, financial models, and conducting analysis.
- Oversee pitch and valuation work, managing junior team members where relevant.
- Assist senior bankers with transaction structuring, process management, and executing deals.
- Conduct financial analysis, cash flow modelling, business valuations, and/or credit analysis as part of marketing and deal execution activities.
- Represent the client at site visits, management presentations, and client meetings, while building relationships with market counterparts.
- Stay updated on client activities, market trends, and relevant debt and equity products.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 2:1 degree.
- Experience: 4-6 years of M&A experience, with specific knowledge in the Energy sector (Renewables, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy Infrastructure).
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Desirable: Proficiency in an additional European language.
