Selby Jennings is partnering with a cross-border regional boutique (***open to remote*** specializing in middle-market transactions. This Investment Bank is looking to speak with Investment Banking Managing Directors with experience covering Consumer and/or Industrials Manufacturing to work on both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within the industrials and consumer manufacturing sectors, ranging from $25MM to $100MM in enterprise value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, with a focus on industrials and/or consumer manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successful deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from inception to closing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, potential buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
- Prepare and present detailed transaction materials, including pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Negotiate deal terms and structure transactions to maximize value for clients.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support throughout the transaction process.
- Stay current with industry trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and closing M&A transactions in the industrials and/or consumer manufacturing sectors.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
