Position Overview: Our client are seeking a talented and ambitious Investments Associate to support our investment team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for real estate investment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of investment projects, from market research and financial analysis to due diligence and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess the viability and potential returns of investment projects.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing legal documents, financial statements, and property inspections.
- Support the asset management team in monitoring and optimizing the performance of existing investments.
- Prepare investment presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute investment strategies and achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in real estate investment, investment banking, private equity, or a similar role.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques - including Excel, Microsoft Word, and Argus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of the Atlanta real estate market is preferred but not required.
