My client, a Quantitative Investment Manager, is seeking an individual IT Risk Project Manager to join their team. This individual will manage mid-to-large-size projects with a focus on risk and control. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT including 5 or more years of experience supporting IT business projects, IT Risk and Control projects and IT operational projects, experience in Financial Services, and work on regulatory projects. This is a hybrid work model in Boston.
Responsibilities:
- Scoping, planning, and executing IT projects
- Serve as a scrum master and facilitate scrum events
- Creating and maintaining project plans including tasks, dependencies, milestones, resources, issues, and risks
- Manage the SOC 1 audit process on an annual basis, focusing on timely and thorough responses to audit requests, and year-over-year process improvements
Skills Required:
- Project Management: Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities by efficiently planning, executing, and closing projects that meet all milestones and deliverables.
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Leverage experience in handling regulations pertinent to information technology within finance sectors-your expertise will be key!
- Communication Skills: Your ability to convey technical concepts clearly both verbally and in written form across different organizational levels must be top-notch.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience supporting IT business projects, risk and control projects, and IT operational projects
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is highly preferred
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
- Agile Scrum Master Certification and/or PMP Certification preferred
