Role Summary
A leading international insurance company in Luxembourg is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Risk Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping the organization's approach to IT Risk topics, ensuring compliance with emerging regulations, and fostering resilience in the face of technological and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Resilience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance IT risk resilience across the organization, identifying vulnerabilities, and designing mitigation plans.
- Business Continuity Management (BCM): Lead the creation and execution of robust business continuity plans to ensure operational stability during disruptive events.
- Outsourcing Oversight: Manage IT risks associated with outsourcing activities, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Non-Financial Risk Management: Address and oversee non-financial risk categories related to IT operations, providing guidance and solutions to mitigate impact.
- DORA Compliance: Stay ahead of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) regulations, ensuring the company meets all requirements and implements necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and third-party providers.
- Provide regular reports and updates on IT risk management metrics and projects to senior management and the board.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in IT risk management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of risk resilience, business continuity management, outsourcing practices, and non-financial risk frameworks.
- Familiarity with DORA regulations and a proactive approach to regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex IT systems and identify potential risks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) is a plus.
