We are partnered with a leading boutique fund focused on emerging markets equity analysis who are looking to add an Equity Analyst covering LATAM Equities to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with 1-5 years of experience within LATAM equities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of companies, including financial modelling, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Monitor and analyse macroeconomic trends, political developments, and market dynamics in key LATAM emerging markets.
- Develop and maintain investment theses for companies and sectors under coverage.
- Provide actionable investment recommendations to the portfolio management team based on thorough research and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest market trends, news, and developments impacting LATAM emerging markets.
- Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to contribute to the overall investment strategy.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to the investment team and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related role, with a focus on LATAM emerging markets.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and equity research methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret financial statements, economic data, and market trends.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
