We are currently working with a Global Real Estate Firm who is seeking a manager for their logistics investment department. The manager will be involved in the REIT's investment and divestment activities as well as redevelopment projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute investment and divestment strategies, focusing on business opportunities within the Asia Pacific region.
- Identify and pursue potential investments, including asset and company acquisitions, while also managing the divestment of identified assets.
- Structure and negotiate the closure of investment and divestment deals.
- Enhance the growth of the real estate portfolio by fostering relationships and supporting the initiation of new investments and business ventures.
- Oversee the entire investment and divestment process, including deal origination, research, evaluation, structuring, financial analysis, financial modelling, negotiation, and execution.
- Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, industry conditions, competitor activities, business models, and financial metrics.
- Perform commercial and financial due diligence.
- Prepare investment committee papers to present opportunities to the board and investment committee.
- Create management reports and board materials for presentation to the board and investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates to the investment committee.
- Lead and manage the redevelopment of existing assets to enhance revenue.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual valuation exercise for the entire portfolio.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Building, Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in regional real estate investments.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling are crucial.
- Knowledge of financial products, business development, or development management experience, with a focus on logistics properties investment being advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate initiative, possess strong business and financial acumen, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
