Job Description: Private Credit/ABL Investment Associate

Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join its growing Private Credit/ABL team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of buy-side experience in private credit, ABL, or related roles. The Associate will work closely with senior team members on all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling to assess potential private credit and ABL opportunities.
- Support deal execution, including structuring, negotiating, and managing transaction processes.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee.
- Monitor and manage portfolio investments, ensuring performance aligns with underwriting assumptions and strategic objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify attractive investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of buy-side experience in private credit, ABL, or a related investment role.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Experience with credit underwriting and knowledge of ABL structures is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
