We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate to join our dynamic team in Chicago. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess potential investments.
- Perform market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and legal assessments.
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and support the management of portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and execute investment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
