A Buyout Private Equity firm located in the Los Angeles, CA region is looking to add on an Associate or Experienced Associate to their team between now and Summer 2025. The firm focuses on Technology investments and takes an operational focus with the companies that they invest in. The ideal candidate for this role would have 2 years of Investment Banking experience and 0-1 year of PE experience, ideally within the Technology sector. The ideal candidate for this role would also have a strong interest in being mentored by individuals with a deep history in the Technology space and hopefully be intrigued by the idea to join a firm for the long term.

The Private Equity Associate will be responsible for:
- Structure and negotiate the acquisition and disposition of various types of investments
- Work directly alongside executive leadership of acquired firms to drive the professionalization and profitability of their organizations
- Participate in committee discussions around potential investments and strategic initiatives
- Due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements
The Private Equity Associate should have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of investment banking experience (ideally focused on Tech M&A transactions) and 0-1 year of Private Equity experience
- A bachelors degree from an accredited university (ideally within Finance or Economics)
- A passion for collaborative growth and a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to investing and business growth
- A desire to live and work full-time in Los Angeles, CA
