Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join our dynamic private equity team. The VP will play a critical role in managing investment opportunities, leading transaction execution, and driving portfolio company performance. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of our investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing and Origination:
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts, investment banks, and other sources of deal flow.
- Transaction Execution:
- Lead due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments.
- Oversee the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for the investment committee.
- Negotiate transaction terms and structure deals in collaboration with legal and financial advisors.
- Portfolio Management:
- Provide strategic and operational support to portfolio companies.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement value creation initiatives.
- Serve on the boards of portfolio companies and act as a liaison between the firm and company management.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
