An exciting new position has opened up in a life insurance company for a Regulatory and Insurance Product Lawyer role in Luxembourg. The position would give the possibility to develop ones expertise in both regulatory and company secretary responsibilities, together with a diverse and international team.
The role encompasses:
- Identifying and monitoring the relevant legal and regulatory development, including EU regulations and guidelines
- Drafting, reviewing and controlling legal reports and contracts
- Providing updates, opinion and advice on development of monitored policies and legal issues
- Being part of resolving potential issues linked to insurance products together with team
- Managing full cycle of board meetings
- Responding to KYC/DD information requests from internal and external advisors
- Acting as point of contact for board members and internal and external advisors.
- Reporting to Head of Legal and Company Secretary
Mandatory experiences include:
- 3+ years of practicing or in-house lawyer, with focus on insurance and contract law
- Multi-jurisdictional experience
- Legal and regulatory monitoring experience
- Taking minutes experience
- Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements in Luxembourg and within the EU
