Title: Quantitative Macro Analyst
Compensation: $300k - $500k Total Compensation
Summary: A PM pod under a leading Tier 1 Hedge Fund is looking to onboard a Quantitative Macro Analyst to work alongside the three PMs directly supporting the research and development of the trading strategies
Responsibilities
- Construction and refinement of macroeconomic Nowcasts.
- Construct and test of systematic trading strategies across various macro assets.
- Generating forecast ideas, conducting statistical analysis, and working collaboratively to implement medium- and long-term models to trade a variety of macro asset classes.
- Development and standardization of research output templates for PM, senior firm management, and investors.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working on a macro desk at a Tier 1 firm and a proven track record, with of developing and successfully implementing quantitative strategies in macro markets.
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and macro trading strategies.
- Hands-on experience building systematic investment strategies and familiarity with macroeconomic data and attendant complexities.
