Our Investment Management team is working with a leading global real estate firm in their search for a Retail Leasing Senior Manager/ Vice President to join their dynamic Retail Leasing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing:
- Develop and implement strategies with the team to optimize rental income and occupancy rates across the company's commercial portfolio.
- Drive efforts to secure new tenants, identify target market segments, manage lease renewals, and collaborate with property agents.
- Conduct competitor market research and benchmark rental rates and occupancy costs.
- Prepare annual rental budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports.
- Manage marketing budgets and present them to key stakeholders.
- Guide the team on leasing strategies and ensure effective execution.
Lease Management:
- Oversee the review of lease documents, contracts, and tenancy schedules.
- Prepare leasing assumptions for annual budgeting and manage monthly management reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present portfolio management updates, market analysis, and leasing recommendations.
- Streamline workflows within the Lease Administration Department for efficiency.
- Conduct audits on leases and tenant management, oversee arrears management, and develop recovery plans for delinquent cases.
- Track security deposits, gross sales turnover reports, and tenant sales reports, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Address billing issues and resolve Point of Sale (POS) concerns escalated by the team.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing feedback and requests in a timely manner.
- Liaise with legal counsel and external parties such as bailiffs and collection agents as needed.
