Position Overview:
The firm is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Analyst to join the hedge fund team in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep fundamental research on individual companies across various sectors, including financial modeling, earnings analysis, and valuation.
- Identify long and short investment opportunities based on thorough quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Assist portfolio managers in idea generation, stock selection, and trade execution.
Help monitor and analyze portfolio performance, contributing to portfolio construction and risk management - Collaborate with other team members in research, trading, and risk management to share insights and develop cohesive strategies.
- Communicate investment theses clearly, both in written reports and verbal discussions with the investment team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Buyside experience
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate governance, and market dynamics. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
