A top-tier Insurance company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pricing Actuary to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead their pricing strategy efforts across various insurance products, leveraging your deep actuarial expertise to drive profitability, competitiveness, and sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with underwriting, product development, finance, and analytics teams to develop and implement robust pricing models and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies for new and existing insurance products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Product Responsibility: for Liability, E&O, D&O and Transactional Liability pricing support, with a personal focus on the D&O product
- Conduct comprehensive actuarial analyses, including rate adequacy studies, profitability assessments, and risk evaluations, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and actuarial models.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Work closely with underwriting, claims, and product development teams to understand product features, customer segmentation, and distribution channels, integrating insights into pricing decisions.
- Assess and quantify risks associated with pricing decisions, recommending adjustments to pricing assumptions and models as necessary to optimize risk-return profiles.
- Present pricing recommendations and findings to senior executives and key stakeholders, articulating complex actuarial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience
- D&O pricing experience preferred
- ACAS/FCAS designation required
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Ability to drive team performance
- Strong organizational skills and internal drive to push projects forward
- Curiosity to understand "what" the data is saying and "why"
- Interest in developing data-based strategic actions with portfolio owners
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Creativity to consider actuarial problems in new ways
