Our client is one of the leading virtual banking groups in Asia Pacific currently operating across Greater China and Southeast Asia looking to add a Finance Senior Manager to their group function.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and financial advice to senior management on the group's business strategies by reviewing business contracts
- Handle complex accounting issues and guide the business unit finance team
- Support senior management on strategic initiatives such as investments, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, treasury, and risk management
- Participate in the group's tax planning and compliance
- Continuously review and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial reporting process
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with bankers, external auditors, legal and tax advisors on projects
- Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent
- Solid experience as a financial executive, preferably in the banking/financial services industry
- Strong big 4 background with in-depth knowledge of HKFRS or IFRS and China GAAP
- Strong leadership skills, hands-on and highly self-motivated
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Chinese
