Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Turnaround and Restructuring Professional to join their growing team. As a key member of the turnaround and restructuring practice, you will be responsible for advising distressed companies and their stakeholders on critical financial and operational matters. This role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile, high-impact engagements with global clients, offering tailored solutions in financial distress, operational turnaround, and strategic restructuring. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and the ability to deliver actionable insights under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership teams of distressed companies to assess their financial and operational health, and develop tailored restructuring and turnaround strategies to restore business stability and growth.
- Lead the development and execution of financial restructuring plans, including debt negotiations, capital structure optimization, liquidity management, and creditor negotiations. Advise on distressed debt issues and capital raising strategies.
- Identify and implement operational improvement initiatives, focusing on cost reduction, working capital optimization, and process efficiency to stabilize the business and improve performance
- Serve as a key liaison between management, creditors, private equity firms, and other stakeholders, managing complex relationships and driving alignment on restructuring goals and strategies.
- Advise on distressed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and asset sales, including managing the sale process, structuring transactions, and maximizing value for all stakeholders.
- Guide clients through high-pressure crisis situations, including bankruptcy proceedings, debt covenant violations, liquidity shortfalls, and other financial or operational crises.
- Lead and manage turnaround and restructuring projects, overseeing cross-functional teams, driving timelines, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, financial models, and presentations to senior management, creditors, and investors. Clearly articulate complex financial and operational issues and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, distressed asset opportunities, and restructuring market developments to provide clients with timely, relevant insights and proactive advice.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial restructuring, turnaround management, or related advisory services. Strong background in distressed M&A, operational improvement, and debt restructuring.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business. An MBA, CFA, or other advanced qualifications (e.g., CIRA, CTP) is highly desirable.
- across a broad range of industries (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, energy, retail, financial services) is preferred, with the ability to adapt and develop strategies for different sectors.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis of financial statements, cash flow forecasting, and business performance assessments. Experience with bankruptcy proceedings, distressed debt, and capital markets is essential.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex financial and operational problems under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, high-profile restructuring projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives, investors, and other senior stakeholders and effectively present complex ideas and solutions.
- Proven ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations, manage conflicting interests, and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

Compensation:
Base Salary: $140,000 - $195,000
All-in Compensation: $200,000 - $375,000
