Our client, a leading provider of stop loss insurance and managed care solutions is looking for a Medical Stop Loss Underwriter to join their team and help assess and manage risks for self-funded health plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite medical stop loss insurance policies by assessing risk and analyzing medical claims data.
- Develop pricing and policy terms based on healthcare utilization and claims history.
- Work with sales teams and brokers to support quoting and client proposals.
- Analyze risk exposure, identify trends, and forecast future healthcare costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in medical stop loss underwriting or related insurance fields.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in medical claims data and risk assessment.
