Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally.
Lead and oversee various projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business goals.
Direct and manage the activities of the US pricing actuarial team, ensuring effective performance and collaboration.
Oversee the recruitment, development, and training of the pricing actuarial team as needed to support growth and performance.
Conduct strategic analyses to assist business units in achieving target loss ratios, including developing underwriting improvement plans.
Generate and communicate regular portfolio management analytics to various business units.
Develop and maintain pricing and rating tools for new and existing programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Create tools for identifying and tracking coverage aggregation for specific classes or exposures.
Conduct industry, peer, and market analyses to support the development of new products and initiatives.
Lead efforts to standardize and automate data processes and reporting across the organization.
Drive strategy related to the use of technology, external data, and the collection and organization of enterprise data.
Act as a key contact with carrier partners regarding program and portfolio underwriting performance
Qualifications:
Over 15 years of experience in the actuarial field.
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) preferred; Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) will also be considered.
Broad experience across commercial lines products and various lines of business, including both property and casualty.
In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, including insurance accounting principles.
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and guiding organizational initiatives.
