Job Summary:
My client is a global investment bank is seeking a Vice President on their commercial credit team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of credit risk assessment, and proven experience in managing complex commercial loan portfolios. This role will be critical in driving the bank's lending decisions and fostering strategic relationships with high-profile commercial clients. This person will play a key role in delivering comprehensive credit analysis, enhancing portfolio quality, and supporting the bank's growth objectives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive credit analysis for complex commercial loans
- Prepare and present strategic credit reports and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and other teams in the bank to structure tailored lending solutions and manage portfolio risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis or credit risk management in an investment banking or financial services environment.
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, loan structuring, and managing global credit portfolios.
- Must come from a banking background
