A leader in the Crypto and Blockchain industry is looking to add a VP Software Engineer to their New York Trading Technology team. You would play a key role in building the next generation state of the art Crypto Trading systems. The firm is expanding its footprint globally and this role will be instrumental to scaling their trading technology.
The firm has three focuses of business: Global Markets, Asset Management, and Digital Infrastructure and they offer services across all major eco systems BTC, ETH, SOL. They are one of the leading liquidity providers in the digital asset space with a major focus on exchange trading and crypto lending.
Responsibilities:
- Build the next generation of cryptocurrency trading systems
- Develop low latency high performing OMS
- Partner closely with Quants for trading system designs and implementation
- Optimize application performance profiling
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience using Java building out trading systems
- Experience in one or more of order management systems, low latency messaging, price distribution or market connectivity
- Experience in developing low latency pricing and trading systems in Linux environments
- Application performance and profiling and optimization
- Bonus if you have experience eFX development in low latency, knowledge of crypto, and knowledge of institutional encodings
