Position: Wholesale Insurance Broker Assistant
Location: New York City
Responsibilities:
- Support Brokerage operations
- Assists in executing and coordinating day-to-day broker tasks
- Collaborates with brokers to prepare documents for marketing renewal business
- Provides necessary administrative support, handling tasks such as filing, printing, and archiving documents
- Updates new and current client information
- Maintains organized records of client accounts, transactions, and other relevant documentation
- Oversees compliance with record-keeping regulations
- Handles customer service functions, answering broker requests and questions via telephone, email, chat, or in person
- Contributes to the preparation of compliance reports related to brokerage operations
- Collaborates across broker and finance teams
- Adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Assists in identifying and mitigating operational risks
- Handles ad hoc tasks and requests
Qualifications:
- Back-office admin experience
- Used to high volume in deal flow in the commercial insurance business
- Able to handle submissions, quotes, binders and endorsements
- Need to be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preferred knowledge of the following systems AIM, IMAGEWRITE
- Comfortable speaking with clients
- In office 4 days a week
